This compilation is a good introduction to the musical preferences of the Mod culture from ska, rocksteady, reggae, 60's soul, 2Tone and a few Mod revival bands. I cant say that this is "the essential " compilation for the people whose new in the scene since most of the songs are readily available and and easy to find.
